Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in the US. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). Born and raised in a family of artists located in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. Beginning she was employed as an assistant in photography. Then, her career shifted into directing and modeling. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within just three short films, she became the top female box office actress worldwide. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
