Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous awards. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was raised in an artistic environment. She began as a photo assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. She was noticed in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought fame to the world and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the globe after just three films. In 1972, her foot-prints along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
