Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. She grew up in an artist family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of artistic fields. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. She won her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising actress. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was selected for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. She was named the best female box-office star of the world after only three films. In 1972, her foot-prints along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw's been married three different times.
