Selena Gomez has a worldwide name as an actor as well as a performer. She's been a part of numerous projects, however her involvement in the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place has had the greatest success. Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. After leaving the series, Selena was able to audition for several roles in other film and television shows, but wasn't very successful. The film also gave her the role in the role of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2005 Brain Zapped program for which she wrote a song.
