Selena Gomez is an internationally known actress and singer. She's been a part of various projects. However, her involvement in the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place has had the greatest success. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. When she was nine years old, Selena landed her first role in show business after being cast in the role of Gianna by Barney and her Friends. Between 2001 and 2003, she was a part of the cast. Selena wasn't the only singer on Barney And His Friends - Demi was also part of the show in this period. After leaving the series Selena Gomez auditioned for several roles on other shows as well as films, but wasn't particularly successful. Following the end of the show, Selena auditioned for roles in various other movies and programs, but she did not have much success. Also, she was cast as Emily Grace Garcia, a character she created a musical for in 2006's Brain Zapped.
