Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002. It has since aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten began her professional life at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budgetary papers. She initially loved the intellectual rigors of her work, but she soon began to lose interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. After an entire 18-year period of making her store a huge success, she sold it and began making her debut book. Other cookbooks followed, as did magazine columns. Between them Her Food Network show was also successful. The company also offers a wide range of products ranging from cooking supplies as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina has never attended a cooking school, nor did she be employed at the restaurant industry. She is a complete self-taught. Her popularity is due to her easy-going way of cooking and entertaining. The most well-known recipes she has created are the lemon chicken skeillet, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
